Some questions in English:
  • What (Què?) Example: What she says?
  • Who ( Qui) Example: Who talks?
  • Which (Quin?) Example: Which homework we have to do?
  • When( Quan?) Example: When do you go to Italy?
  • Why ( Perquè?) Example: Why you don’t have the homework?
  • Whose (De qui?) Example: Who’s this pencil?
  • How (Com?) Example: How does she it?
  • Where ( On?) Example: Where do you go? 




What is a noun?

The definition of noun is: a word that is used to define a person, animal or living object, place, thing or quality. There are many different kinds of nouns in English.

Countable and uncountable nouns:


  • Uncountable nouns are nouns that cannot be counted.


  • Uncountable nouns only used in the singular tense.


  • “A” or “an” cannot be used with uncountable nouns. "The" can be used with uncountable nouns.


  • Certain quantifiers can be used with uncountable nouns, such as some, any, much, there are lots of examples where the quantifiers can be used with uncountable nouns.


  • Quaintly of uncountable nouns is expressed by the expression "a ....of......”.

1. A determiner must be used before noun(or adverb if adjectives are used, such as a, the, this, one, ours, his etc).
